 | Amlan Mohanty is a final year student at the National Law School of India University. His interest in intellectual property rights was unwittingly kindled in high school by discussions on music piracy and file sharing, digital rights and internet freedoms.
Once in law school, his appreciation for legal nuances surrounding these subjects made intellectual property a passion. Since then, he has been keenly following the interface between technology and intellectual property and closely tracks international developments in the field.
His core areas of IP include digital copyright, fair use, copyright issues on the internet, internet governance, software patents, technology and innovation and associated fields. |
