The Roche saga may not be over yet. Stating that there is no corelation between public interest and patent laws, the Company has appealed against the order by the Dehi HC. The matter has been posted for April 22nd, 2008. This is the very same judgment by the Delhi High Court which SpicyIP found to be one of the best, most well researched judgments.
SpicyIP hopes that the Division Bench has followed the case carefully, and finally puts the issue to rest- in a manner similar to the other judgment by the Delhi High Court: backed with reason and good law.
