Position Title: Associate (Patents) — (Mechanical Engg/Electronics/Computer Science)
Location: New Delhi
Roles and Responsibilities:
i. Carrying out prior art, freedom-to-operate, technology landscape searches.
ii. Drafting patent specifications and claims for filing in India and abroad.
iii. Working on state-of-the-art technology developed by leading R&D teams in the country and overseas.
iii. Directly coordinating with inventors, clients, patent officials, preparing submission to office action and appearing before patent examiners
Required Qualification:
i. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
ii. Any of the categories below
- One to two years experience in patents drafting, preferably in a Law Firm or a KPO; or
- One to two years experience in your respective industry; or
- Freshers with good conceptual understanding of their technology
iii. Bachelors or masters in Mechanical Engg /Electronics / Computer Science
iv. Good working knowledge of Indian and US patenting system
