We are pleased to inform you that the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) in association with the Foreign Commonwealth Office (UK) through British High Commission in New Delhi are inviting research papers on ‘Identification and Valuation of IPRs in MSMEs’.
FISME established in 1995 aims to promote entrepreneurship and facilitate creation of a competitive environment for Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). FISME recently set up three IP Facilitation Centers (IPFCs) in New Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad to spread awareness among MSMEs to protect their intellectual property. The research competition invites scholarly research papers on issues relating to effective valuation methodologies for IPRs in Indian MSMEs.
Submission Procedure
Interested participants have to submit an extract of 400-500 words along with their bio data on or before June 20, 2012. Shortlisted participants have to submit their final research papers of 5000-7000 words on or before July 31, 2012. The research papers must be the original work of the author that has not been submitted for publication elsewhere.
Awards
The author of the best entry selected by a jury comprising of IPR experts, officials from British High Commission and Government of India will receive Rs. 1,00,000 and the research paper will be published by FISME. Consolation prizes will be awarded to all the shortlisted entries.
