We are glad to announce that the Inter University Centre for Intellectual Property Rights Studies (IUCIPRS) is offering scholarships to Ph.D candidates interested in research on IPR related issues. IUCIPRS is an autonomous Centre at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) established to encourage multidisciplinary teaching and research in IPR.
Eligibility & Duration: Candidates already enrolled or eligible for Ph.D registration in CUSAT can avail this scholarship for a period of two years (extendable up to four years). Selected candidates should be involved as a full time researcher working on IPR related aspects.
Application Procedure: Interested candidates are required submit an application from (available here) along with a detailed research proposal in the prescribed format.
Selection Procedure: The selection would be based on a written test and interview conducted for selection of candidates for Ph.D programme in CUSAT. All candidates who have been exempted from the written test are required to make a presentation on their research proposal followed by an interview.
Grant: Selected candidates are entitled to Rs. 12,000 per month and also eligible for a contingency grant up to Rs. 20,000 per year.
