Mr. T. C. James is the chairman for NIPO IP Academy. He is president, NIPO and former Director (IPRs), Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (2001-2009). Earlier, he had been Deputy Registrar, Copyright Office (1996-2001). He is also author of a book called “Patent Protection and Innovation”. He is also member of Editorial Board on Journal of Intellectual Property Rights.
NIPO IP Academy has launched its first online course for IPR resources. This course ‘Expert programme in patents’ includes a unique blend of contents prepared by both practicing lawyers and non-lawyers. It is meant for those appearing for patent agent examination and those who are looking for a course for expertise in patents. This course is Indian patent centric.

- Interested candidates are required to register online.
- Payment of the course is to be made through DD or Cheque in favour of NIPO.
- The candidates are required to include following details on reverse side of cheque: Name, User ID, Contact number, Email ID.
- Cheque/DD need to be sent to NIPO’s address.
