We are delighted to announce the launch of SPARC, the SpicyIP Academy Research Clinic
SPARC is our dedicated attempt at bridging the accessibility gap to structured peer review that a large number of Indian IP researchers currently face. We understand that substantive, expert feedback during the early and middle stages of research is still limited to a small number of well-resourced institutions. SPARC is our effort to build a strong Indian IP cohort, focused on helping those who are finding themselves alone in their research journeys through serious engagement.
If you are a researcher working on Indian IP and you have been waiting for this, now is the time to apply. We are looking for ten researchers to join the first cohort of the SpicyIP Academy Research Clinic. Calling PhD candidates, early-career academics, LLM students, independent researchers – if your work engages seriously with Indian Intellectual Property law, policy, or practice, we want to hear from you.
Here is what you get: Dedicated sessions to present your work to a panel of reviewers from SpicyIP’s team and network, written feedback, a cohort of fellow Indian IP researchers, access to curated resources, and an active IP community after the programme ends. Five sessions over ten weeks (subject to scheduling), online and free.
Here is what you submit: A research abstract, your current draft at any stage, three to five specific questions you want feedback on, a short note on your timeline, a one-paragraph bio, and your CV.
