As many of our readers may know, IP-Watch is a great source for international IP and IP policy news. They have often served as a terrific resource for us at SpicyIP as well. As they rightly put it, they have “provoked debate, exposed controversies, and helped thousands to access a policy conversation long seen as highly technical and closed.”
They usually keep most of their online content free, while ensuring that all of it is free to developing country readers. This morning, they have put out a post requesting help, so they can continue providing independent, open access service, as, by the end of this month, they will be deciding on the future of IP-Watch. We should also remember that a lot of major policy debates will be coming up soon, with the ACTA, FTAs and other agreements as well as trade policies coming along soon, and a news source such as IP-Watch would be invaluable in these discussions.
They have put forward a few ways that you can help them on their site here.
You can also contact wnew at ip-watch.ch if you have any suggestions or proposals.
We wish them all the best and sincerely hope that they are able to continue the way they have so far!

This made me think—
How are you people sustaining??
Just a thought…
Great Going!!!
All the Best.
I certainly hope IP Watch gets the help it needs. The site has consistently been a most helpful source of information concerning patent law and other IP issues on an international scale.
