We’re happy to bring to our readers’ notice, INTA’s Ladas Memorial Award Competition for papers on trademark law or matters that directly relate to or affect trademarks. The competition has a student category (open to non-US students as well) carrying a prize of $2500 dollar, and a professional category carrying a set of Stephen P. Ladas’ three volume treatise Patents, Trademarks, and Related Rights. Winning papers will also be published in INTA’s legal journal, The Trademark Reporter. See more details below:

INTA’s 2015 Ladas Memorial Award Competition – open to students, professors and practitioners | |
Sponsored by the law firm of Ladas & Parry LLP, the Ladas Competition was established in memory of outstanding practitioner and author, Stephen P. Ladas. The award is presented every year for the best student and professional paper on trademark law or a matter that directly relates to or affects trademarks. Student Category Eligible students must be enrolled as either full- or part-time law or graduate students. For students outside the United States, university enrollment is acceptable. The top two papers will be selected as award recipients. Professional Category Authors may be legal practitioners, business professionals and/or academics.
