SpicyIP is pleased to announce that Rainmaker is organizing the 4th edition of ‘A Question of Law 2014’, its annual quiz on law and related subjects, on 26th November, i.e., Law Day.
The quiz which has witnessed widespread participation ever since its inaugural edition in 2011 at Teen Murthi Bhawan would be hosted by Supreme Court Advocate, Mr. Gopal Sankaranarayanan. Mr. Sankaranarayanan brings with him years of quizzing experience and is sure to keep the audience enthralled and the participants on their toes!
The previous editions of the quiz were held at the Indian Society of International Law in 2012 and at 100% Rock in Delhi’s Ambience Mall in 2013. This year, the quiz would be hosted in the evening at Monkey Bar, Connaught Place in Delhi.
For its 1st edition, the quiz had 6 teams, each of which was headed by a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court and R.F. Nariman (then Solicitor General, and now judge) was the Chief Guest.
Since then, the quiz is open to anybody who wishes to participate, with the only requirement being that the maximum number of members that a team may have is three.
A Question of Law will bring to you questions based on legal history, judicial precedents, as well as many more interesting facts about the legal profession and the law, and will test your legal knowledge to the utmost!
