New IP courses by IIPS

Leading IP institute The Institute of Intellectual Property Studies (IIPS) is offering a range of innovative IP courses,addressing and supporting diversified needs in an ever changing IP landscape.

COURSES OFFERED:

1. 4 Month Certificate Course in Intellectual Property

This course provides the participants with an appreciative insight into the role and significance of each of the different forms of intellectual property rights through an understanding of the fundamentals of the IPR regimes and protection systems.

Course commences on 17 July,2010.

2. 1 Year Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law and Practice

This course arms the participants with knowledge of all aspects of patent law and practice and is intended to for the likes of the R&D scientist, practicing lawyer and those involved in the excercising of patenting,seeking to groom themselves as patent agents.

IIPS is also introducing two innovative courses this year:

1. 1 Year Diploma in IPR Management

This course is aimed at building capacities in the development and implementation of successful IP management strategies,as a corporate or individual consultant. It is meant for professionals looking for an in-depth understanding of IP management issues.

2. 6 Months Diploma Course on Cyber Law Management

This course is aimed at benefiting individuals from every discipline, even the common homemaker!

The syllabus has been designed elaborately with the help of industry experts and comprises a comprehensive study on all cyber law related issues.

b) 10- weekend Certificate Course on Patent Searching & Drafting
c) 5-Weekend Course on Technology Transfer & Licensing of Patents
